Type-to-highlight

• Best match marked, typing a name moves the cursor to the best match and frames it, and your selection stays as it was.
• Matched letters shown, the letters you typed are highlighted in each matching name.
• Wildcards, * and ? work while typing, the same way they do in the filter box.
• Walk the matches, Up and Down step through the matches, Home and End go to the first and last, PgUp and PgDn to the next ones off screen.
• Position in banner, the banner shows where you are among the matches, such as 2/14.
• Marks beside scrollbar, small marks beside the scrollbar show where the matches are in a long folder.
• Ctrl+Enter to filter, press Ctrl+Enter to move the typed name into the filter box.
• Quick view follows, an open Quick view shows the current match as you type.

Keyboard

• Cursor row commands, with nothing selected, F3, F4, F5, F6, F8 and Ctrl+C act on the marked file under the cursor.
• Ctrl+Space, select or deselect the file under the cursor without moving.
• Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn, go to the parent folder, or into the folder or archive under the cursor.
• Left and Right in Details, go to the parent folder, or into the folder under the cursor.
• Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn, extend the selection in Thumbs and Gallery as they do in Details.
• Alt+PgUp and Alt+PgDn, flip the pages of a PDF tile; this was Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn.
• Down from filter box, press Down to go back to the file list and keep the filter.
• Escape clears filter, press Escape in the file list to clear the filter.
• Keyboard starts in list, the file list has the keyboard when a window opens in Details.
• Tab switches panes, Tab and Shift+Tab move between the left and right pane, and do nothing in a single-pane window.
• Ctrl+Tab cycles focus, Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab move through the folder tree, the panes and the filter box.
• Shortcut list, F1 now lists the file list keys.

Updating

• Update while running, starting a newer download while the installed copy is running offers to close it, update it and start it again.
• Update from Settings, the Install button in Settings, System now works while the installed copy is running; restart that copy to use the new version.
• Update from a folder, the update offer also appears when the download is started on a folder.
• Reminder after Not now, a line in the status bar leads back to the install or update you declined.
• Registrations follow, the PDF application and Open Cadri Commander here entries made from the download move to the installed copy.
• Check for a newer version, a button in Settings, System asks cadri.app for the newest version when you press it.
