Improvements and bug fixes
- Screenshots of scaled windows. Capturing a window on a display scaled above 100 % could leave black margins around a smaller drawing while its menus stayed in place. The capture now renders each window in its own DPI context and maps the result onto the physical screen rectangle.
- Correct file identification. Honestly named files are no longer reported as "the contents are …" and sent to the wrong viewer: Photoshop large documents (
.psb), camera raws (.cr2,.nef,.arw,.dng), compressed tarballs (.tbz,.txz,.tzst), other members of the JPEG 2000 family, FLAC files carrying an ID3 tag, and.m4afiles written with a generic MP4 brand. The status note now quotes the file's own extension spelling. - More formats recognised when renamed. WebAssembly, ELF and
arbinaries, RPM, cpio, LZH, lzip, VMDK, WIM and VDI images, program databases, DDS, OpenEXR, QOI, ICNS, XCF, Radiance HDR, animated cursors, EMF and placeable WMF pictures, BigTIFF, RF64 wave files and further MP4, M4B and M4R brands are identified from their bytes.
